Listing Standards

In order to keep Infinite Armory a trustworthy marketplace with a consistent, safe experience, we enforce the listing standards laid out below.

Depending on the circumstance, any listing that violates these standards may be hidden or deleted. If your listing is hidden, you will receive a notification with an explanation. You are able to correct the issue and un-hide the listing. Repeated violations may result in restrictions on your account. Please be sure to review this guideline thoroughly before listing.

Images

When creating a listing on Infinite Armory, it’s essential to provide high-quality, accurate images of your item. To ensure the best experience for buyers and maintain the integrity of the marketplace, please follow these guidelines:

No Stock Photos: Images must be original and taken by you. Stock photos, promotional images, or manufacturer-provided images are not allowed.
Clear and Well-Lit: Ensure your images are clear, properly focused, and taken in good lighting. Avoid blurry or dark photos that make it difficult to see the item’s details.
Recent Photos: Use images that reflect the item’s current condition. Photos taken long ago or before the item’s condition changed are not acceptable.
Your Own Images: You must own the rights to the images you upload. Do not use images taken from other sources, including other listings, websites, or social media.
Actual Item Depicted: The images must show the exact item being sold, not a duplicate, replica, or similar item. Buyers need to see the specific product they are purchasing. If the item is new in box and you’d prefer not to break the package seal, your own photo of the box is acceptable.

Title

Titles should be descriptive of the item you are selling. Make sure and include enough information so that a prospective buyer knows what the listing is without needing to look at the photo, including the manufacturer/brand. Do not unnecessarily place a title in all CAPS. Do not add unrelated information in order to game search results.

Brand or Manufacturer

It’s important to select the correct brand or manufacturer of your item so that your item shows up on that brand’s page and search results.

Multiple: You can select multiple, so make sure you select all of the manufacturers that apply. For example, if you are listing a clone Mk 18 Upper, you should select Colt, Daniel Defense, and SureFire.
Holsters: If you are a listing agent holster, select the brand of the holster if available and also the brand of the firearm it’s designed for.
Listings that have incorrect brand or manufacturers selected will be subject to removal.

Price

While we do not dictate prices on Infinite Armory, asking price should reflect the actual asking price of the item you are listing. Intentionally pricing outside a reasonable window (such as extreme overpricing in order to solely solicit offers) is not allowed. Raising the shipping rate and dropping the listing price to show an inaccurate price drop is also not allowed. Listing items for an unreasonably low price and then rejecting offers for that asking price is not allowed. However, it is important to remember that many items might be priced higher than expected due to their rarity or desirability. That discretion is entirely up to the vendor/owner of the item and complaining about high prices is also not allowed. Infinite Armory is intended to be a marketplace where buyers can shop, browse, sort, and view listings and make a purchase decision based on the accurate details of the listing.

Airsoft / Replica / Fake / Counterfeit

It is permitted to list items that are not genuine, such as airsoft replicas, provided the listing clearly states that the item is not authentic or associated with the company it is marked as representing. The description must be transparent enough for a reasonable person to clearly understand the nature of the item being offered. Do NOT select the company the product is replicating in the Brand or Manufacturer field. Any vendor found intentionally misrepresenting a non-genuine item as authentic may have their account restricted.

Offsite Language

We do not allow users to solicit offsite transactions on Infinite Armory. Any language that implies offsite contact or transactions is subject to removal.

Multiple Items

Listings that are attempting to sell multiple items but with separate pricing are not supported. Because feedback on Infinite Armory is validated through a verified transaction, each listing needs to be for 1 item or 1 group of items. Selling a group of items as a single “lot” for a single price is supported. But if your listing includes multiple items that are intended to be sold separately, they need to each be uploaded as a separate listing with appropriate pricing.

Multiple Quantities

Listings that offer multiple identical items for individual sale are not yet officially supported (coming soon!). Sellers may have multiple items bundled into a “lot” sale. However, for the time being, if you have an item that you have multiple of, indicate that in the description of your listing. A buyer can send you an offer either based on the individual price or combined price of the quantity they intend to purchase. The details can be negotiated via direct message. After the buyer has indicated that they have paid, and the seller has confirmed the correct payment amount, that listing will be marked as sold in order to facilitate shipping, tracking, and feedback. A vendor will need to create a new listing with the remaining quantity.

Duplicate Items

Posting the same item multiple times to manipulate search results or increase visibility is prohibited. Any duplicate listings will be automatically removed. To ensure fair exposure, all listings are regularly rotated to the top of the feed at scheduled intervals. Note that all listings are regularly rotated to the top of the feed at scheduled intervals by the system.

Unrelated / Unnecessary Keywords

Use of irrelevant brand names, model names, or any other unrelated/unnecessary keywords in order to game the search engine is not allowed. These types of keywords and/or listings are subject to removal.

Trades

We do not currently have native support for advertising of trades. For sellers, if you are open to specific trades that you would accept, please indicate that in the description of your listing. For buyers, you may reach out to a vendor via direct message to discuss potential trades. If a deal is reached that includes a trade, it is up to the buyer and seller to determine the acceptable logistics around who will be shipping first, who pays for shipping, etc… We are looking to natively support a trading mechanism in the near future.

Want Ad / WTB / ISO

This type of listing is not allowed on the site. Infinite listings are explicitly reserved for sellers who have items for sale. We are building other tools to facilitate indicating specific items you might be looking for as a buyer. For now, the best strategy is to set up a search alert for the item(s) you’re looking for in order to receive a notification if a listing gets added that matches your search criteria.

Sold

All sales should proceed through the Infinite Armory transaction flow in order to support payment notifications, shipping information, and seller feedback. If you accidentally sell something via DMs without using the transaction flow, we recommend communicating with the buyer and asking them to still proceed through the transaction flow so that you can receive feedback on the transaction. If you sell an item off of Infinite Armory or the item is no longer available, do not simply edit the listing to say “Sold” and leave the listing live on the site. The listing should be either hidden or deleted.

Services

Infinite does not permit special services to be sold on the site. If you are a company that is interested in advertising a service to the Infinite audience, please contact us in order to inquire about a sponsored listing.

Not Related Gear

Infinite is a marketplace for buying and selling things related to firearms, parts, accessories, tactical kit, hunting gear, and related items. Any listings wholly unrelated to those categories are not permitted and subject to removal.

Dealers and Manufacturers

Infinite Armory allows listings for new items from dealers and manufacturers under specific conditions, but our platform is not intended to serve as a full-scale storefront. To ensure the marketplace remains focused on peer-to-peer transactions, the following guidelines apply:

Privately Owned New Items
Dealers and manufacturers may list new items that are privately owned. This could include surplus stock, discontinued items, prototypes, or items acquired for personal use but never used. Listings should reflect unique or limited offerings, not bulk inventory.
Select New Items from Dealers, Stores, or Manufacturers
Dealers, stores, and manufacturers are welcome to list select new items that align with the marketplace’s focus on firearms, parts, accessories, and tactical gear. These listings should be carefully curated and targeted to the community, rather than serving as a way to display your entire inventory or catalog.
Restricted Use for Distributor-Sourced or Manufactured Inventory
Infinite Armory is not intended for dealers or manufacturers to list bulk inventory sourced from distributor networks (e.g., RSR, Davidson’s, etc.) or serve as a primary sales platform for items you produce.
Sponsored Listings and Advertising
If you are a dealer or manufacturer with an existing online presence or storefront, consider using a sponsored post to advertise your business or products. Sponsored posts are a better fit for promoting your brand while reaching a highly engaged audience, without conflicting with the marketplace’s focus on peer-to-peer transactions.
