Shipping Prices

It’s been a few weeks since our last update, but rest assured, the quiet doesn’t mean a lack of progress. We’ve been hard at work developing new features and squashing bugs in preparation for our upcoming launch event (more details on that soon).

Last week, we rolled out a key update to listings: the ability to specify a shipping price when creating a new listing. One of our primary goals is to keep the “new listing” process as simple and efficient as possible, allowing you to list items quickly and with minimal effort. To maintain this simplicity, we’ve set the default option to “price includes shipping,” meaning all new listings will automatically offer free shipping to buyers. If your listing price already includes shipping, you won’t need to do anything. However, if you’d like to add a custom shipping charge, simply uncheck the box and a “shipping price” field will appear for you to enter the desired amount.

We’ve made sure to update the design of the feed, individual listings, emails, offer flows, and anywhere else the listing price is shown, to clearly display the shipping price—or indicate if shipping is free so buyers are always aware of the full cost they’re agreeing to with a purchase.

Payment & Shipping Information

Previously, to support the buying and selling process, we included payment instructions for buyers and shipping instructions for sellers in the respective emails sent during the transaction. However, we understand that emails can sometimes get lost, and relying solely on them for such important information isn’t ideal. To improve this, we’ve now added payment and shipping details directly to the purchases and sales pages. We’ve even included “copy to clipboard” icons on each details to make things even more seamless. This change ensures that both buyers and sellers can easily access the information they need without the hassle of searching through their inboxes.
